The after dark session is very special and creates a completely different aura than the usual daylight shoot.
Therefor we rely on sporadically used “artificial” light sources (in this case, everything except daylight) and the resulting play of light and shadow. This could be, for example, candlelight or a single headlight.
This creates a very different atmosphere than in daylight shootings. Hard edges and no smooth transitions, but strong shadows and few bright areas in the photo.
According to the principle “less is sexy”, fantasy starts guessing and creates a new point of view.
